My Philosophy
I created this practice to perform excellent dentistry in a comfortable, friendly environment. My passion for dentistry led me to Temple Dental School in 1989. My attention to detail and desire for excellence allows my patients not only the chance to maintain or gain dental health but to achieve the smile of their dreams.
Experience is never appreciated until you have it. With over 1400 post graduate continuing education hours credited, I consider myself an educator. My job is to evaluate your mouth and make sure YOU understand all the options and levels of treatment so you can choose the best plan. What is best? It is all about what YOU want, so you play a very active role in your treatment in my office. When both the patient and office have your best interest in mind, the dentistry will be excellent and you will be satisfied.
About Me
I began my practice in 1995 in West Chester, Pa. In 2002 I opened a second location in Greenville DE, at Powder Mill Square. In 2009 I sold the West Chester physical location to consolidate my overall practice. Due to the physical limitations of the Powder Mill Square office, I planned and completed a move across the street to our current facility. In April of 2014, the community of Greenville, De witnessed the Grand Re-opening of a beautiful dental facility in Greenville Center, 19 years in the making.
I was born in North Wilmington, DE, and grew up in Camp Hill, PA. After graduating from Trinity High School in 1985 I continued my education and received an Associate of Arts in Chemistry in 1987 from Harrisburg Area Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Delaware in 1989. In 1993 I graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry. In 1994 I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D) residency at Temple.
In August 2001, I earned the distinction of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This award recognized my 500 hours of continuing education and my successful completion of a 6 hour comprehensive dental exam in all aspects of Dentistry. I completed 600 more hours of continuing education as well as specific hands-on procedures to be awarded, "Mastership" status in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2006; and became one of only, 1,600 dentists worldwide to achieve this distinction. I continue to pursue my dental education through courses, seminars and group study as well as the following professional associations:

I hold dental licenses in Delaware and Pennsylvania. I have shared my dental talents by working limited part-times stretches at various Public Health places. Those facilities included Chester County Prison , the Delaware State Prison System and West Side Health. To gain experience with special need adults and children, I also worked for the non-profit "Practice Without Pressure".
In 2018, I opened Your Sleep Solution in response to a need I saw in treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea issues.
During the Covid-19 crisis, I participated in weekly national AGD planning sessions as a group leader. I was able to bring this knowledge to the Delaware State Dental Society and lead an ad hoc committee on re-opening and developing return to work guidelines. I was called in by the state's contractor to be trained and to administer covid-19 nasal swab tests to the staff of the state corrections system and other outside state agencies that required testing during the height of the Pandemic in April of 2020.
